A VIP Portrait Experience & Gala Showcase
This extraordinary project captures the essence of motherhood through photography and storytelling. Between now and April we'll be photographing Mothers and documenting their unique journeys culminating in a gallery show and gala on May 8th, 2025. The Gala will showcase the portraits and stories of participating mothers, and a silent auction will be held to benefit Girls Inc. a non-profit organization empowering young girls.

Each story submitted through this form receives individual consideration to highlight diverse, inspiring experiences in our upcoming showcase. Step 1
Creative Planning & Consultation
If your story is selected, we’ll meet at my studio for a personalized planning session to map out every detail of your experience. During this consultation, we’ll discuss how you dream of being photographed and explore your personal style.
We’ll also review options for artwork, including specific pricing, so you can begin envisioning the stunning pieces you’ll have the opportunity to purchase to commemorate this session. From wardrobe ideas to artwork selection, we’ll plan everything down to the smallest detail and answer all your questions, ensuring you feel confident and excited about the journey ahead.
Step 2
Wardrobe & Styling
During your consultation, we’ll discuss wardrobe and styling in detail to ensure you look and feel incredible for your session. Together, we’ll talk about colors, patterns, and how to best complement the location and overall vision for your portraits.
Because this experience is all about you, we’ll focus on understanding your personal style and unique story. I’ll also provide ongoing wardrobe support, encouraging you to share your thoughts and ideas so we can make choices that bring out your confidence and beauty. From start to finish, I’m here to help you select the most flattering and meaningful looks for your special day.
Step 3
Guided Photoshoot
Helping you look and feel amazing in front of the camera is what I do best.
During your session, I’ll guide you through every pose so you feel natural and at ease on camera, which helps bring out your most authentic self. Together, we’ll capture not just your beauty, but the deep love and connection you share with your children—those tender moments and unspoken bonds that make your motherhood story so unique.
You don’t need to worry about being ‘photogenic’—I’ll be there to coach you every step of the way and create images you’ll absolutely love.
Step 4
The Big Reveal
After your session, we’ll carefully select the best images and have our editors get to work on the finished images.
At your purchasing appointment, you’ll experience a heartfelt reveal video showcasing the most powerful moments from your session (tissues provided!). Then, we’ll guide you through selecting your favorite images for your custom collection or heirloom album.

Step 5: Mother’s Day Gala
This exclusive red-carpet event on Thursday, May 8th at 6pm, located at The Park Club in Costa Mesa is your opportunity to be celebrated for the incredible role you play as a mother.
Your portrait and story will be featured in the Stories of Motherhood Gallery Show, displayed alongside the inspiring journeys of other participants.
Enjoy an elegant evening dedicated to honoring the beauty, strength, and resilience of motherhood. This is your moment to shine, be recognized for everything you do, and connect with other incredible moms who share in this journey.
